How it all began.

The Fresh Fruit Team’s journey is rooted in a rich family tradition that stretches back more than 40 years. It all began on the bustling streets of The Mediterranean with Fadel Senior who always loved food and understood the importance of the best produce resulting in the best dishes. Wanting to share his passion and deep knowledge with his local community, he opened his first grocery store, and enjoyed servicing his neighbourhood and beyond with local specialty produce and locally made wholefoods.

Australia and its opportunity came calling, and Fadel Senior migrated with Wasfieyeh his wife and young children to Sydney in 1981, bringing his passion with him. Here, he continued his family legacy by establishing a new business dedicated to supplying grocery stores with top-quality produce. His children grew up as fascinated as he was, and joined the family tradition as soon as they were old enough.

Fast forward to today, and we still have that family business mindset at the heart of everything we do. Fadel Seniors grandson Fadel JR is now steering the ship in a bold new era, but it’s still with the same values of integrity and loyalty that Fadel Senior instilled all those decades ago.

Over the years, The Fresh Fruit Team has grown from a small operation to a trusted name, providing exceptional fruits and vegetables to industries far and wide. Our commitment to quality, service and affordability has remained steadfast, driven by the importance of building strong relationships with growers, suppliers and clients.
